New Healthy Eating Guide for Transplant Recipients Now Available
We are pleased to unveil a new healthy eating resource for transplant recipients. Developed by registered dieticians Maude Bégin and Valérie Jomphe, who both are involved with both kidney and lung transplant programs in Québec. Theguide was made possible by a grant from Astellas Pharma Canada and is endorced by both the CTA as well as Maison de Greffés.
The guide outlines 6 different actions patients can take to contribute poitively to the lifespan of their transplant through healthy eating. It also provides two tasty recipes and links to futher online resources.
